These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Poker War game and related services. By downloading, accessing, or playing Poker War, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
1. Acceptance
You must be old enough to form a binding agreement and meet the minimum age required in your country to use the game. Poker War is a strategy game and does not offer real-money gambling, wagering, or prizes.
2. Your account
Online play requires an account created with Sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password. There are no guest accounts. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly at playpokerwar@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe others' rights while using the game.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other players.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours.
- Disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service or its servers.
- Exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage instead of reporting them.
4. Fair play — no cheating or automation
Poker War is built on the principle that skill outranks luck. To keep it fair, you may not:
- Use bots, scripts, automation, or any tool that plays moves for you.
- Collude with opponents, manipulate matchmaking, or farm ratings or coins.
- Use modified clients, memory editors, or third-party software that gives an unfair advantage.
- Abuse forfeits or disconnects to manipulate outcomes.
Ranked outcomes are validated server-side. Violations may cost you ratings, coins, or your account.
5. Display names and content
Your display name and any content you submit must not be offensive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive (for example, impersonating others or staff), or otherwise objectionable. We may reject, change, or remove a display name that violates these Terms.
6. Virtual coins and cosmetics
The game includes virtual coins ("Honors") and cosmetic items such as card backs, table mats, and lane-win markers. These are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use within the game. They:
- Have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for real money.
- Cannot be sold, traded, or transferred outside the game.
- Are purely cosmetic or capacity-related and never grant a gameplay advantage in ranked play.
We may add, modify, or retire virtual items as the game evolves.
7. Purchases and subscriptions
When in-app purchases or subscriptions are enabled, they are processed and managed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. Any subscription renews automatically until cancelled, and you manage, cancel, or request refunds for subscriptions through your Apple or Google account — not through us. Purchases unlock cosmetics or active-game capacity only and never affect competitive balance.
8. Service availability
Poker War is provided on an "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, update, or discontinue features, modes, or the service itself at any time, and matches or online services may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the game and its players. You may stop using the game and delete your account at any time via the Delete Account page.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Poker War is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
