Poker War takes the simplicity of War and the hand-building depth of poker, then strips away every casino reflex. You're dealt half the deck. Where each card goes is a decision, and every decision compounds.
Poker War uses poker hand rankings, but it is not a gambling app. There is no betting, wagering, casino mechanic, cash-out, or real-money prize system.

Four tactical lanes

How a duel plays out
Draw & deploy
Each turn, draw a card, then deploy it across one of four lanes, or spend your single face-down discard wisely.
Build four lanes
Every lane holds five cards a side. Deployed cards stay face up, so the board is open information.
Resolve as poker
Each full lane resolves as a five-card poker hand. Beat your opponent's lane to claim it; equal lanes tie.
Win 3 of 4 lanes
Win 3 of 4 lanes to take the match. A 2–2 split breaks on your remaining five-card hand.
Play async, rapid, live, or against the computer. Your decisions decide the match, not the deal.
